On July 4th, Independence Day, the Philadelphia area members of Campaign for Liberty have been invited once again to share our message of Liberty with the attendees of the Independence Hall Tea Party Association's "The Energy Independence Day Tea Party".
At past events we have had a strong showing and worked effectively to share our message. Let's see if we can top our best and have 100's of true liberty lovers in attendance!!
We ...are requesting that "our people" show up early wearing a Campaign for Liberty or Ron Paul* T shirt (so everyone knows who we are). Our objective is to reach out and make contact with EVERYONE in attendance, sharing with them the true message of liberty.
*While campaign for Liberty does not support candidates running for office, I am told that individual members are striving to put Official Ron Paul 2012 literature in the hands of everyone within a 3 block radius!! Today the echoes of liberty bounced from building to building awakening one person at a time in the city of brotherly love. Philidelphians we subjected to truth, honesty and freedom all the while being given solutions to our current-future problems.
Although well recepted by the public it seemed that the Private Federal Reserve Bank made a statement that the sidewalk in front of the building is PRIVATE PROPERTY. Last I checked it was public property.
It seems that time is passing too fast and there is not enough activism on our parts. So from here on our the Chester County Ron Paul Revolution will be pushing to expose truth and liberty to all much more often.
If you would like to be involved and live near Chester County please join us. We will be in your town too spreading liberty.

Great News! According to the latest CNN poll Ron Paul is polling second among potential primary voters in New Hampshire. It seems that Ron Paul's ideas are resonating well in the live free or die state. Remember whoever wins the state of NH usually goes on to win the GOP nomination. Could Ron Paul pull a major upset in NH? I hope so. Until then I'm sure the neocons in the Republican Party are trying to find a way to downplay the poll results and find more ways to demean and censor Ron Paul and his message of liberty.

Who's hosting? Pat Sellers
How to find us: Look for the Ron Paul sgn at the end of the driveway.
I just received the letter below from Carris Kocher and I thought what better way to start off the 2012 Ron Paul campaign than a cookout on Patrick Henry's birthday! Come one and come all. We'll have intense discussions comparing Ron Paul to Patrick Henry and other Founding Fathers. We'll also talk about the 2012 campaign and what we have to do to put Ron Paul in the White House. Bring a covered dish if you like, or just bring yourself and some friends, but RSVP so I'll have enough hot dogs and burgers.
Yours in Liberty,
Patrick Henry Sellers
To Friends of Liberty Everywhere!!
You are invited to forward this to others.
May 29, 2011 is Patrick Henry’s 275th birthday,
a day that should be noted by all who love Liberty.
Few realize the extent of Patrick Henry’s contributions to the establishment of the United States and protection of individual liberties. Beginning with the Parson’s Cause Case in 1763, followed by his Stamp Act Resolves of 1765, and on through the many events leading up to the First Continental Congress in 1774 and his famous “Liberty or Death” speech on March 23, 1775, Patrick Henry followed the same principles. Government was a compact, and when the king showed himself to be opposed to laws that were in the best interest of the people, he was no longer entitled to their obedience. The compact was broken.
These beliefs put him in friendly company with Sam and John Adams. The three of them saw early on that independence would be necessary if they were to remain a free people. But Henry’s contributions went far beyond speech-making. Please allow me to briefly introduce you to other accomplishments for which he deserves recognition.
In the spring of 1775 Patrick Henry became the first to lead a group of armed Virginians against the royal government when he demanded a return of the military supplies seized at Governor Dunmore’s order. Since the goods had been removed offshore, Henry accepted payment of equal value before he headed north for the Second Continental Congress - a little late.
At that congress, Washington was elected Commander in Chief of the Continental Army. In Virginia, Henry was elected the first Commander in Chief of the Virginia forces, commanding the First Virginia Regiment.
In 1776 Henry was elected the first governor of the free and independent Commonwealth of Virginia, the first elected executive of a free republic with a written constitution in the history of the world!!
Thus Patrick Henry and George Washington became the two persons whose signatures are most notably absent from the Declaration of Independence. Washington was with the army; Henry was sworn in as Virginia’s governor on July 5, 1776.
In 1778 Governor Henry’s extensive efforts to provide for the Continental Army during the difficult winter at Valley Forge exceeded those of any other civilian. He also wrote Congress, scolding them for their neglect in that department and making some needed recommendations.
Also, during the winter of the Encampment at Valley Forge, Henry received an anonymous letter enlisting his support of what is now called the Conway Cabal, an effort to remove Washington as Commander in Chief and replace him with General Horatio Gates. Governor Henry immediately wrote to General Washington, enclosing the letter and exposing the whole matter.
From 1763, Patrick Henry was in the forefront of the fight for religious freedom. The last two articles of the Virginia Declaration of Rights of 1776 are believed to be his.
Without Henry the United States would likely have remained on the eastern seaboard. As governor of Virginia in 1777-78, Patrick Henry commissioned George Rogers Clark for a secret mission on the frontier. Clark’s victories at Kaskaskia and Vincennes secured the Northwest Territory for future settlement, greatly expanding the boundaries of the United States .
More than anyone else, Henry insisted on the preservation of navigational rights on the Mississippi River.
But above all this, without Henry there would not be a Bill of Rights on the federal constitution.
I think you’ll agree with me that it’s time to restore Patrick Henry to the first rank of the founding fathers. He was indeed a true Patriot, Statesman and Christian of the first order.
In addition to May 29th, there are other opportunities yet remaining in 2011 to honor Patrick Henry on the 275th anniversary of his birth year - July 4th, Constitution Day in September, Thanksgiving, AND December 15th, Bill of Rights Day!!
So, with a heart full of gratitude for this great and good man, let us follow his example in the pursuit of Liberty and Virtue,
A beneficiary of his legacy,
